5 out of 5 stars Outstanding   March 4, 2010
Palomar (Seattle, WA USA)
I highly recommend this book if you are building decision models using Excel and/or Crystal Ball. I used this book for an MBA class and subsequently built numerous decision models using the concepts outlined in this book. The examples are excellent and insightful. This book taught me everything I needed to know to build complex real world decision models using Excel.

4 out of 5 stars Good Introduction to Management Science and MS Excel Solver   March 30, 2010
James R. Mettling (Burbank, CA United States)
I found this an excellent introduction to both the modern approach to analytical business problem solving and the use of Excel Solver to make such analysis quick and easy. As might be expected from a text book, their are many references to other works that enable a more in-depth study of the mathematics behind the methodologies. I found it a good quick reference to modern business analysis as practiced today.
